Society Publications

The Society has published a number of booklets about the area over the years. Our latest is "Rainhill's Past in Pictures" launched on 18th September 2010. As well as text describing life in Rainhill over a century and more, it contains more than 200 pictures of life in the area during that period. Our two earlier publications are "The Story of Rainhill", a history of the area written in the 1960s by Robert and Frances Dickinson and updated with additional material in 2002 , as well as "A History of Transport through Rainhill", by Frances Dickinson.

We also have packs of notelets, illustrated by line drawings of Rainhill.

Details of these are below. Click on each picture to see a larger image.

You can pay on line by credit card. Payments are handled by PayPal, and none of your card details will be sent to Rainhill Civic Society.
