Rainhill in Bloom Competition

The Rosebowl Trophy

Every year the Society organises a competition for the best front garden. This year , once again,we will be looking for the best hanging baskets and containers. The objective is to find the display having most impact - size is not a factor.

The only restriction, apart from the need to be situated within the Parish of Rainhill, is that the display must be visible from a roadway or other area accessible to the public.

Entry forms are usually available in May . Please consider entering for the competition. You can also nominate a neighbour or anyone else, with their permission, whose garden display you admire. Any committee member can provide you with a form, or if you wish you may e-mail the Secretary for one. You can print one out during the entry period. Or you can fill in an on-line form. Completed forms should be returned to any committee member or placed in the box in the Library.

Judging takes place in July and three prizes are presented in September. The winner is, in addition, the holder for twelve months of a silver rosebowl presented to the Society by the Parish Council.

Rainhill in Bloom was introduced to brighten up the Township. Please help us to do this by entering your own display.
